Penn State Laureate commences tour, launches blog to share experiences

FaceAge producer and director and ADRI director Andrew Belser has embarked on his Penn State Laureate tour for 2017-18. He plans to visit all Penn State campuses over the course of the year to share FaceAge, an award-winning video program featuring an immersive three-screen environment of interconnected chapters built around cross-generational encounters. This series of intimate interactions between young adults (18-22) and aging individuals (65+) challenges perceptions, fosters introspection, and builds acceptance, awareness, and human connections.

The tour began at University Park in August, then moved on to Berks, Brandywine, and Abington, where it is currently installed through October 10. Between Penn State campus stops, Belser is visiting a range of other organizations, including senior living facilities and medical centers, to share FaceAge with the broader public.

Those who want to follow along with Belser’s adventures can stay up-to-date at the FaceAge Laureate Tour Blog, where he’ll be sharing thoughts, photos, and overall experiences throughout the duration of his tour.
