This Spring, teams of undergrads from around the U.S. took the Accelerator Rap Challenge to create a short SchoolHouseRock-style animated music video that could help 8-12-year-olds understand innovative entrepreneurial work. They composed beats and lyrics related to this year’s entrepreneurial topic (the six themes of Aulet’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship) and rendered animations that brought their lyrics to life. The work they created is designed to inspire girls, children of color, and kids from other population groups currently under-represented in innovative entrepreneurship to see themselves in entrepreneurial careers. The winning animation will be streaming in Borland Project Space at University Park Campus from April 7-14. All are welcome to stop in, view the winning entry, and grab some Accelerator Rap Challenge swag.
Visit the Accelerator Rap Challenge website to register for the contest finale, to be held April 4 at 7 p.m., and hear from the winning team: https://sites.psu.edu/challenge/
