Members of the Penn State community are invited to discover and engage in critical conversations about the work of senior capstone design students in ME 440.007, co-taught by B. Stephen Carpenter II, Interim Director of the School of Visual Arts and Professor of Art Education and African American Studies, and Zoubeida Ounaies, Associate Department Head and Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Explore through informal conversation how “humanitarian engineering meets arts-informed social practice” as evidenced by these semester-long student projects through presentations of their work at the ADRI (16 Borland Building) between the hours of 3:35 and 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.
