#HereToo@Penn State Devised Performance

Location: Pavilion Theatre

#HereToo is a two-pronged project involving a web portal to aggregate stories, images, and media clips that will inform an original “Laramie-Project-like” interview-based play chronicling the first-person experiences of gun violence survivors and the work of young activists across the United States.

Tectonic Theater Project members and co-creators of the #HereToo Project, Barbara Pitts McAdams and Jimmy Maize will work with Penn State B.A. Theatre Studies students during a two-week residency, November 3--15, on the creation of #HereToo@Penn State. The week will culminate in two evening-length devised performances about gun culture as it impacts communities.

The #HereToo performances are free and open to the public. They will take place at Pavilion Theatre on Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. No tickets are required. More information about the #HereToo project, along with full biographical information of project members, can be found at heretooproject.com.
